1. Main trekking phase on the Iceland independent expedition
Trek the 4-day Laugavegurinn trail in the Fjallabak Nature reserve, from Landmannalauger to the beautiful wooded valley of Thórsmörk. Laugavegurinn is Iceland’s ultimate trail to trek, known as the Hot Spring Road. It is a demanding but hugely rewarding trek where conditions can be harsh depending on the weather.
You will get to experience one of the best trekking and wilderness areas in Europe, offering mountains of every colour of the rainbow, glaciers, roaring hot springs, rivers and lakes.
2. Rest and relaxation in Iceland
After completing the trek, you will have time to explore the attractions of Reykjavik and its surroundings. There will also be time to visit the famous Blue Lagoon and bathe in the milky blue geothermal spa surrounded by a surreal landscape of black lava or to go on a whale and dolphin watching trip.
