As the highest and most isolated of the South American republics, Bolivia is one of the more adventurous destinations in this continent.
The opportunity to trek at high altitudes and walk along old Inca trails in the Andes, along with the chance to explore the humid jungle lowlands of the Amazon Basin, expeditions to Bolivia offer a great physical challenge as well as spectacular and unforgettable scenery.
Bolivia is South America’s most indigenous country with over 60% of its population claiming indigenous heritage, allowing independent teams in Bolivia to experience and absorb the rich Indian culture whilst on expedition.

There is also the opportunity to complete a community project which may include working at a rural school, completing basic construction work for orphanages or working at street children centres in La Paz.
Alongside the trekking and project work the team will also have time to see some of the sights of Bolivia such as the beautiful Lake Titicaca which is the highest navigable lake in the world, or the Salar de Uyuni in the south, the world’s largest salt flat; all of which make for some amazing photos!
